The subsidy per kWh is the difference between the basic amount and the correction amount. The correction amount is the market price for energy. If the energy price rises, you will receive less subsidy and if the energy price falls, you will receive more subsidy. The basic energy price is the lower limit of the correction amount. The energy produced must be provided with certificates (guarantees of origin GVO) by CertiQ in order to be eligible for subsidy.

The budget is €150 million. There will be a new opening round every year until April 1, 2026.

The budget allocation is in order of receipt. We assume a complete application that meets the requirements of the scheme. Has the budget been oversubscribed on a particular day  (more budget has been requested than is available)? Then we draw lots within that day. The draw will then determine which applications are eligible for subsidy.

The members (individuals or companies) and the installation must be resident or established within the requested postcode. The postcode map of the Netherlands determines the postcode rose area. With the Postcode Viewer (open with Firefox or Edge preferably) you can determine your zip code.

For example: the sunroof is located in a specific 4-digit postcode area. All participants must either live in the same postcode area, or in one of the adjacent postcode areas. You can realize the production installation in the middle of the postcode rose or in one of the 'leaves' of the rose. In the latter case, we also call this the zip code track. The participants must all live or be located within the established postcode rose. Companies located in the postcode rose may participate as members in the energy cooperative, provided they have a small-scale consumer connection.

The latest date for commissioning a technology in the solar PV category has been changed from 1.5 years to 2 years (after the date of the decision to grant subsidy). A realization period of 3 years still applies for the Wind and Hydropower categories.
