General Description

The monograph analyses the possibilities of using locally available sources of waste biomass in thermochemical processes of gasification and sunlight-driven pyrolysis processes, including the potential useful use of process products and wastes. The proposed concept can be the basis for the development of local systems of production final forms of energy, implementing the model of circular economy based on locally available raw materials. The most important feature of these technologies is the ability to use solid waste products as useful raw materials. These products can be a source of critical raw materials, including those with fertilising properties, and unconventional materials used for other tasks, such as purification of aqueous solutions. Additionally, in the case of the proposed pyrolysis pyrolysis, a free source of heat was used, which emphasizes the advantages of this process in the context of closed the assumptions of a closed-cycle economy.
